The Digi-Chiquihuites project, an initiative by the UNDP, aims to promote inclusive digitization as a means of achieving sustainable economic and social recovery in response to the COVID-19 crisis. The project specifically targets two groups that have been severely impacted by the pandemic: women micro-entrepreneurs in the tourism sector and teaching staff affiliated with the Salvadoran Institute for Teacher Welfare (ISBM).
In this article, we will explore the outcomes and lessons learned from the experimentation methodologies employed by the El Salvador Acceleration Lab in the tourism sector component of the Digi-Chiquihuites Project.
By sharing this document, the UNDP aims to contribute to the ongoing accumulation of knowledge in order to bridge the digital divide and ensure that no one is left behind in the pursuit of the objectives outlined in the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
